Emblems

Explanation of the coat of arms of the Victory of the Cross (in Spanish): the Sacred Heart of Jesus, the Immaculate Heart of Mary, the Most Chaste Heart of Saint Joseph, and the inscriptions Victoria Crucis, Tria corda unum amor, Portae inferi non praevalebunt adversum eam and Pacificans per sanguinem.

Our Patroness: The Virgin of the Victory of the Cross

The Virgin of the Victory of the Cross is a title inspired by the triumphant vision of the Book of Revelation: the Woman clothed with the sun who confronts the seven-headed dragon and the forces of evil. From the Scriptures in Genesis onward, Catholic theology has recognized in this Woman Mary Most Holy, foretold by God as the one who would crush the serpent’s head.

In this powerful image the three Glorious Archangels join the battle: Saint Michael, Saint Gabriel and Saint Raphael, invoked throughout history by the Church for spiritual protection against the snares of the evil one.

What it means for our Foundation

This painting, which depicts in a vivid and striking way God’s definitive victory over evil, sums up the essence and spirit of the Victoria de la Cruz Foundation.

Through our Patroness, we constantly invoke the presence of Mary Most Holy and the Holy Archangels, so that they may accompany us in every spiritual battle and help us guide oppressed souls toward deliverance, always reaching victory in the Name of the Cross of Our Lord.
